Jackpot Raiders

Jackpot Raiders slot is Yggdrasil Gaming’s latest progressive jackpot mobile slot game to launch, as you may have guessed from its title. The name of this game also gives away its theme. The Jackpot Raiders mobile slot is a cross between Indiana Jones and Tomb Raider, with an exploration and adventure theme running throughout the game. There are several mobile slots available right now with similar themes, but this appears to be the only one offering up a progressive jackpot cash prize.

The Yggdrasil developed mobile slot is played over a simplistic 5-reel and 20-pay line gaming platform, and none of the pay lines can be altered. However, Jackpot Raiders slot's wagering range is flexible enough that you would scarcely need to do so. Stakes cost a minimum of 20p a game, and no more than £40 a spin at their costliest. The best paying of the progressive jackpot prizes in Jackpot Raiders is worth a guaranteed £15,000 but will arguably be valued much higher when you play the game, as there is no cap on how high it can rise.

Fun Facts!

Jackpot Raiders slot is loosely based on the adventures of Indiana Jones. Do you know where the character originates from?

In May 1977, George Lucas took a vacation in Hawaii to at the same time his film Star Wars had its premiere, as he feared the film would be a massive bomb that might end his career. Fellow director and friend Steven Spielberg was with him on this trip and, while building sandcastles on a beach, Spielberg expressed his desire to direct a James Bond film. Lucas said he had a much better idea and proceeded to tell him about Indiana Smith, an adventurer who searched for ancient treasures and fought Nazis. Spielberg loved the idea but proposed they change the character's name to Indiana Jones as he thought it sounded better. The character's first name came from the name of George Lucas' dog, an Alaskan Malamute named Indiana, who had also served as the inspiration for the character of Chewbacca in Star Wars. Tom Selleck was originally chosen to play Indiana Jones but was forced to turn down the role when the pilot for Magnum P.I. was picked up as series by CBS. This paved the way for Harrison Ford to don the iconic Fedora and bullwhip and the rest is movie history.
