Mystery Spin Deluxe Megaways

Mystery Spin Deluxe Megaways

Ever since Blueprint Gaming started to lease the MegaWays gaming engine from Big Time Gaming (BTG), they have released slot after slot featuring the system. Mystery Spin Deluxe: MegaWays was launched June 2019, amidst a flurry of similarly designed titles. This game isn’t too dissimilar from other MegaWays games in terms of its features, although an “In-Sync” mode can spice up gameplay for players tired of the same old rigamarole of this types of titles.

Most of the imagery which appears on the reels of this mobile slot is generic. Fruits and high playing cards, as well as sevens, litter the 6 reels of the Mystery Spin Deluxe: MegaWays slot and they can dole out decent enough wins. Like other titles in this series, this is a medium to high variance release, with a bog-standard RTP rate of 95%. As many as 117,649 random lines can appear on each spin, with stakes costing between 10p and £20 a game. Prizes are capped at 250,000 coins.

Special features

Wild symbols can make landing wins a touch easier in this release. Expect to find them appearing as blue squared symbols, with “wild” written diagonally across them. Wild icons can substitute for all icons save for mystery symbols, in a bid to aid players in landing a win.

Those mystery symbols appear as the game’s title logo. Like mystery symbols in every other slot, these icons can transform themselves (and all instances of them) into the same icon. This won’t guarantee a win, but like wild symbols, they make winning a touch easier than if they weren’t there at all.

There is also an In-Sync feature worked into the design of this game. It can occur at random on any spin. When it does, as many as six reels can lock and display the same symbol. These synced reels once more make landing a win much easier, although they stop short of guaranteeing that one will appear on the reels.

Bonus features

So far, we have seen that Mystery Spin Deluxe: MegaWays comes equipped with three very handy base game features. In fact, it has four if you count the fact that a random number of lines appears on each spin. However, that is where the praise for the game will come to an end. There are no other special features and no bonus rounds in this slot. Even free spin features fail to turn up in this game. This is at least confusing, as other MegaWays slots come with both mystery symbols and a free spin round. Blueprint must be assuming that the In-Sync feature is so on-par with a free spins bonus that it makes for an adequate substitute. Few casino slots fans will agree with that opinion.

Overview

The lack of a free spin bonus does a bit of damage to the enjoyability of this release. As can often be said about MegaWays games; there are better ones out there offering you more, many of which come from Blueprint Gaming’s own vault. Players needn’t settle for this one if it doesn’t work for them.
